Set sail aboard the iconic maxi yacht Brindabella for an exclusive three-day adventure to the windswept beauty of South Australia’s Southern Yorke Peninsula. With just six guests onboard, this intimate escape combines saltwater freedom, wild coastal foraging, and unforgettable seafood feasts—hosted by Brindabella’s passionate owners and crew.

Itinerary Overview

Day 1 – Troubridge Island & Wild Waters

Depart 7am sharp from the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron to catch the tide and maximise time at sea.
Sail south through the Gulf, watching for seals, dolphins and seabirds before anchoring in the lee of Troubridge Island. Swim, snorkel, paddleboard or head ashore by tender to explore the remote island environment.
Prefer to relax onboard? Grab a wine, fish off the stern, or cool off from our sugar scoop.
As the sun sets, enjoy a deckside seafood dinner with local wines and warm hospitality.

Day 2 – Hidden Bays & Vongole Harvest

After a relaxed morning, we hoist sail toward a secret location on the Southern Yorke Peninsula—home to Johnny & Brigid’s family shack.
Tender ashore and, conditions permitting, join a guided harvest of local vongole (clams) in the shallows.
Enjoy a relaxed walk exploring the surrounding bay and the small cluster of off-grid shacks nestled in this quiet coastal community.
As the day winds down, gather on the deck of the shack for a sunset seafood feast—fresh, simple, and straight from the sea—served with local wine and good company. Return to Brindabella for your final night on the water.

Day 3 – Spinnaker Run Home

With the anticipated south-westerlies at your back, enjoy a spectacular spinnaker sail home, arriving mid-late afternoon.
Swap numbers, share photos, and take home the memories of an unforgettable South Australian escape.
