The Lady & The Legend (One & All and Brindabella)

South Australia is not only home to some of the most pristine sailing waters and beautiful
coastlines but home to two of Australia’s most iconic and charterable sailing vessels – the tall ship
ONE AND ALL, and the maxi yacht BRINDABELLA. 

These iconic vessels have come together to create a unique weekend voyage that provides an amazing contrast of sailing experiences.

Get on board to be swept up in the grandeur and worldly charm of an authentic tall ship, as well as the speed and excitement of a true sailing thoroughbred. This new experience is affectionately named ‘THE LADY & THE LEGEND’!
The weekend voyage will feature the Yorke Peninsula’s Saltwater Classic Festival, 13 – 14 April 2024, sailing to Stansbury and Port Vincent, where both vessels will be the showcase. ThisBiannual event is one of Yorke Peninsula’s key events celebrating great traditions of boat building, vessel types and the rich maritime history in a great coastal setting.

This weekend voyage can cater up to 30 guests, perfect for individuals, couples or private groups looking for an escape, with the backdrop of the boat festival and pristine coastal towns of Stansbury and Port Vincent, Yorke Peninsula.

Day 1 - Saturday, 13 April 2023
It's an early start with a meet and greet at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron, Outer Harbour. Once the welcome formalities are completed, two sail groups are formed. Which one do you start with THE LADY or THE LEGEND? It's time to board the vessels, destination Stansbury. As the sails are unfurled the excitement builds as we venture out into open waters. Everyone has the opportunity to experience both vessels by sailing alternative sectors over the weekend.
At sea both vessels will provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, with plenty of tea, coffee, snacks to keep salty sailors sustained.
Once we've arrived across the gulf, we'll join the sailing flotilla with local boats of all vintages and sizes. This scenic sail from Stansbury to Port Vincent brings us to where we drop anchor for the night. At anchor we all come together on ONE AND ALL for pre dinner drinks on the deck, followed by the Captain's dinner. Overnight accommodation will be on board ONE AND ALL and
BRINDABELLA. 

Day 2 - Sunday, 14 April 2023
Next day is met with a hearty breakfast on ONE AND ALL, ready for another action-packed day of sailing. Time to swap vessels to experience the difference between the grandeur of ONE AND ALL and the sailing thoroughbred of BRINDABELLA. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be served on both vessels.
The festival continues with the feature event being Port Vincent's Parade of Sail. Mid-afternoon both vessels signal the departure from the Saltwater Classic. It's all hands-on deck to sail back and to experience a different deck. Once back into port, its time to reflect on the experience shared by all, and which one was the THE LADY and THE LEGEND!
